As a Social Media Specialist, you will execute and optimize social media campaigns across platforms. This role involves creating content, managing day-to-day social media activities, and monitoring performance to ensure alignment with clients’ goals. You are passionate about social media and have a keen eye for detail in both content creation and analytics.
Note: We’re based in Roanoke, Virginia. This role is hybrid, but if you’re an exceptional candidate who works fully remote, we’d still love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement social media strategies and content calendars that speak to B2B audiences and support each client’s goals.
Create, schedule, and proof engaging platform-specific content that drives engagement and interaction.
Monitor and manage social media accounts daily, responding promptly and appropriately to comments, messages, and mentions.
Track social media performance metrics and prepare regular reports to inform ongoing strategies.
Collaborate with the team to concept content that aligns with brand guidelines and campaign goals.
Produce branded graphics and visual assets for social campaigns, ensuring consistency across platforms.
Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices, and suggest improvements.
Assist in executing social media advertising campaigns under the guidance of senior team members.
Skills
Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their respective best practices.
Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to create compelling and platform-specific content.
Proficiency in developing on-brand visual assets that support content goals and improve post performance, using tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
Familiarity with social media management tools like StoryChief, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social.
Experience with social media analytics and the ability to extract insights from data.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirements
1-4 years of experience in social media management or a related field.
Strong portfolio showcasing your social media work.
Strong ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced agency environment.
