Join a respected, growth‑oriented independent insurance agency seeking an Employee Benefits Account Manager to support and service small to mid‑sized group clients (20 employees). This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in client service, collaboration, and the fast‑paced benefits environment.

Responsibilities

Manage a diverse book of employee benefits clients with precision and care.

Coordinate renewals, enrollments, and daily service needs with accuracy and urgency.

Prepare plan comparisons, assist with quotes, and streamline onboarding processes.

Partner closely with producers, carriers, and vendors to deliver timely solutions.

Advise clients on fully insured, level‑funded, and self‑funded plan options.

Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and build lasting client relationships.

Your Background

1–2 years of experience in employee benefits account management.

Hands‑on experience with groups of 20 employees.

Working knowledge of major carriers (BCBS, Harvard Pilgrim, Tufts, UHC, Delta Dental, etc.).

Understanding of medical, dental, vision, life, and ancillary lines.

Active Life & Health License (Michigan).

Organized, reliable, and service‑driven with strong communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $55,000 — $80,000, based on experience. Collaborative, professional culture emphasizing mentorship and long‑term growth.
