Senior Employee Relations Specialist – Acrisure

Responsibilities
Conduct thorough, effective, and impartial investigations in response to complex and sensitive employee‑related issues, complaints, and grievances.
Ensure consistent interpretation and application of Acrisure policies and practices.
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned investigations and coordinate with stakeholders (including Legal).
Utilize effective interviewing and documentation strategies & techniques.
Analyze data, synthesize findings, and prepare concise written reports with recommendations.
Advise concerned parties of report findings and track completion of agreed actions.
Provide guidance on performance feedback and action plans.
Liaise with relevant legal, HR, business, and other stakeholders to address employee‑relations concerns.
Maintain a repository of case material in accordance with confidentiality policies.
Support HR Business Partners, managers, and junior ER Specialists as needed.
Maintain advanced knowledge of employment laws and recommend policy updates.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on educational material and procedures.
Provide other policy, compliance, and regulatory functions as assigned.
Requirements
Strong conflict resolution and mediation skills.
Experience preparing effective written reports with findings and recommendations.
Strong analytical skills for data synthesis.
Exceptional problem‑solving and reasoning abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong time‑management and organizational skills.
Experience in developing or delivering training on employee relations or compliance.
Strategic thinking and ability to work across a complex organization.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Management or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
PHR or SHRM‑CP / SHRM‑SCP preferred.
Advanced knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
5‑7 years of relevant Employee Relations/Investigations experience.
Multi‑state experience preferred.
Workday experience is a plus.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Candidates should be comfortable with an on‑site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross‑functional partnership.
