Role Description This is a full-time on-site/remote Tax Preparer role in Redlands, CA. The Tax Preparer will be responsible for preparing accurate tax returns, reviewing and analyzing financial statements, staying informed about current tax laws and regulations, and, importantly, having knowledge of California. Daily tasks include reviewing client financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing expert advice on tax planning and strategies. This role requires attention to detail, confidentiality, and excellent organizational skills.
This role does not see clients; it is strictly data entry and/or checking alternate tax preparer. Qualifications
Experience in Tax Preparation and knowledge of Tax Law, California knowledge required
Proficiency in analyzing Financial Statements and understanding Finance-related concepts
Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance standards
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under strict deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred
Relevant certification such as Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus
Experience working with tax preparation software, ProConnect is preferred
Strong communication skills for client interaction and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
