Job Summary Acrisure seeks Carrier Placement Specialists across the Midwest. The role involves strategizing placement approaches for complex accounts, evaluating large deductible programs, captives, and layered insurance towers to deliver optimal risk transfer solutions. Independent decision‑making, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and close collaboration with Client Advisors, Account Service Teams, and carrier partners are required.

Responsibilities

Strategize placement approaches for complex accounts.

Evaluate large deductible programs, captives, and layered insurance towers.

Collaborate with Client Advisors, Account Service Teams, and carrier partners.

Make independent decisions and negotiate optimal solutions.

Requirements

Excellent phone etiquette, written and verbal communication skills.

Able to work with minimum supervision and accept directions on assignments.

Proficiency with MS Office products (high knowledge of Excel and Word).

Experience with Agency Management Systems; Applied Epic preferred.

Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.

Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.

Strong attention to detail to ensure document accuracy.

Effective team player with strong customer service skills.

Education and Experience

2+ years of relevant insurance experience required.

Emphasis on mid‑to‑large commercial account placements preferred.

Currently holds a Property & Casualty license in the state of residence.

Pursuit of professional designation (CRM, CISR, CIC, AAI, ARM, CPCU) preferred.

Experience with broker/agent marketing accounts to carriers; excellent market knowledge and negotiation skills.

Pay Details The base compensation range for this position is $45,000 – $128,000. Base pay is based on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on‑site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross‑functional partnership.
