Summary
Bud's Goods & Provisions is seeking a motivated and personable Sales Account Executive to drive wholesale cannabis sales across Massachusetts. This role focuses on acquiring new retail accounts, building strong relationships with dispensaries, and increasing the visibility of Bud's branded pre-roll products - such as party packs, lil jays, and future SKUs. The ideal candidate is passionate about cannabis, eager to hit goals, and thrives in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
Job Duties
Identify, contact, and convert new retail partners to carry Bud's products.
Serve as the day-to-day contact for dispensaries and build long-term relationships.
Deliver compelling product knowledge and educate clients on Bud's offerings and differentiators.
Conduct in-person or virtual product demos, presentations, and sampling events.
Process purchase orders, track delivery timelines, and ensure customer satisfaction post‑sale.
Organize travel and outreach within a defined sales territory to maximize efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline updates, and client interactions using CRM tools.
Report on competitive products, pricing trends, and customer preferences.
Ensure all activities adhere to Massachusetts cannabis regulations and Bud's internal SOPs.
Represent Bud's at trade shows, pop-ups, and industry events to promote brand awareness.

Keeps accurate sales records, leverages CRM tools and tracks performance metrics to drive results
Comfort navigating a fast‑changing industry with evolving products, regulations and market demands
Works well with internal teams (marketing, operations, compliance) to deliver seamless customer experiences
Acts with integrity and understands the importance of working within the strict legal framework of cannabis sales
Experience and Education
2–4 years of sales experience, preferably in cannabis, CPG, or a regulated industry
Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to work independently in a field‑based role
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office
Preferred
Experience in cannabis wholesale sales
Knowledge of Massachusetts cannabis compliance regulations
Strong passion for cannabis and understanding of current market trends
Additional Requirements
Must pass all required background checks
Must have a reliable vehicle
Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
Must be able to lift 30lbs as needed
Must possess valid driver’s license and travel more than 50% of the time
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
Must be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industry
