Join CHEQ as a Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive our fast‑growing U.S. business.
Responsibilities
Nurture, educate and qualify outbound leads to create sales‑ready opportunities via phone, email and social selling.
Research accounts before first contact to understand prospects’ needs and educate them on CHEQ’s solution.
Perform outbound cold calling targeting companies that fit CHEQ’s customer profile.
Become a credible resource and develop trusted relationships with prospects.
Work closely with Sales Managers to identify and uncover opportunities at target accounts.
Identify opportunities to hand‑off to the Sales Account Executive for further follow‑up.
Meet BDR metrics and assigned goals.
Manage leads through a defined process.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of lead qualification/business development experience within a technology company.
Experience in outbound cold calling to multiple‑level contacts, including executive management.
Experience selling to VP and CxO.
Excellent lead follow‑up skills, responding to marketing‑generated campaigns and incoming inquiries.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time and resources effectively.
Superior pre‑call planning, opportunity qualification and objection handling skills.
Superb verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate product benefits and features.
Self‑starter with high‑energy, positive phone presence.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment that requires in‑office teamwork at least 3 days a week.
Employment type Full‑time
Base Pay $50,000–$60,000 per year.
Bonus component based on specified benchmarks, in accordance with all applicable bonus terms and conditions.
Work Environment Hybrid; requires in‑office teamwork at least 3 days per week.
