As part of the Gas Power One Field Services team, FieldCore installs, maintains, and upgrades power generation equipment, enabling operators of the world’s energy infrastructure to provide more reliable and affordable energy.

Job Summary: The Suggested Improvement (SI) Operations Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong working relationships with Live Outage (LO) Technology Directors and Methods Managers to ensure the timely resolution and implementation of SI’s and change requests. This role involves driving the prioritization and execution of SIs in alignment with business priorities, utilizing daily management tools for tracking and reporting progress. The manager will foster synergy between LO and Methods Content, ensuring comprehensive Read Across between products. Additionally, the role includes researching necessary content, identifying field opportunities, and coordinating with field resources to deliver high-quality solutions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Build strong working relationships with the Technology Directors of assigned LO Technologies

Establish a working rhythm with LO Technology Directors and Methods Managers that allows for timely resolution and implementation of received SIs and change requests

Maintain ownership of all SI’s and change requests for assigned LO Technologies from SI receipt to SI implementation

Drive SI prioritization and implementation in accordance with business priorities (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Customer/Strategy)

Use daily management database tools for handling, tracking and reporting progress

Drive synergy between LO and Methods Content ensuring 100% Read Across between Content products (LO Checklists/Methods Field Procedures)

Research media libraries, content and company applications to locate needed content

Identify field opportunities with LO Technology Directors; coordinate with Methods Process Manager to request field resources; partner with field resources to ensure delivery of high quality, complete and accurate solutions for SI resolution and implementation

Participate in Kaizen events as necessary

Work across teams to develop metrics, contextual analysis, and reports to a variety of internal and external stakeholders

Analyze lessons learned and recommend process improvements to drive future behaviors and methodologies

Coordinate best project control practices in accordance with established standards and procedures

Travel to outage sites and regional offices as required to support specific projects

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree with three years’ field experience

5+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge

2+ years of specialized/industry experience

Proficiency using Live Outage

English proficiency required

Excellent customer facing and communication skills

Desired Characteristics:

A deep understanding and experience with gas and steam turbine outage execution

Open mindset and enthusiasm to work in multi-cultural and global role

Familiarity of dynamic project environments

Possess high level organizational ability, proven leadership, and decision-making capabilities

Experience in troubleshooting and problem solving

Excellent communication and management skills, strong interpersonal and influencing skills; ability to work with all levels of employees
