JR1000002**Position Type:**Full time**Remote Type:****Salary Range:**60,000.00-65,000.00**Job Shift:****Job Description:****POSITION OVERVIEW**Reporting to the Sr. Director of Corporations, Foundations, and Prospect Management, the Portfolio & Pipeline Coordinator is a pivotal position within Dunwoody that bridges the gap between data-driven tactics and frontline fundraising efforts. This dynamic role is essential for maximizing donor engagement and enhancing the effectiveness of our fundraising initiatives. As a Portfolio & Pipeline Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and evaluating potential donors, ensuring that our development team hasthe insights and tools needed to cultivate meaningful relationships and secure vital contributions. Your analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights will be instrumental in driving our mission forward. This position requires a balance of independent initiative and team-oriented collaboration.**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS****PORTFOLIO COORDINATION**· Assist in creating and maintaining fundraisers’ portfolios with the most appropriate donor prospects via assignment of newmajor gift prospects and prioritization of existing major gift prospects already in portfolio using best practices and operatingprocedures· Conduct monthly collaborative portfolio review meetings with individual fundraiser partners using key reporting metrics andfundraiser partners’ knowledge of individual prospects· Perform regular portfolio goals evaluation with individual fundraiser partners based on college strategic goals in collaborationwith other Prospect Management and Advancement leadership staff· Support development officers in the complete documentation of their strategies activities in the system of record. Ensure keydata points are updated and accurate as proposals and plans evolve.· Work with Prospect Management staff to develop on-demand pipeline and portfolio reporting and take ownership of maintainingand enhancing those reports**PIPELINE DEVELOPMENT**· Identifies, evaluates, and prioritizes potential donors using qualified lists of suspects· Perform regular analysis and review of suspect, reassignment, and Not A Major Gift Prospect Now pools· Collaborate with Annual Giving and Gift Officer to review gift deposits for new donors, recurring gifts, increased gifts for giftofficer follow-up; perform quick research· Work closely with Gift Officers and other Institutional Advancement Staff to design, implement and assist in management ofactivities to identify new major gift prospects. Examples include board tours, regional travel and events, and referrals fromDunwoody constituents.· Work with Advancement Operations to record and place new prospects where appropriate in the pipeline**PROSPECT RESEARCH**· Perform quick research for phone #s, emails, addresses, and other general data updates· Apply basic tools and techniques for analysis, generating data insights, and presentation.· Assist the Prospect Analyst Manager as needed by:-Identifying and researching prospects, for wealth, assets, other philanthropy, and interests; conducting basic research for linkages, connections, and relationships; providing basic synthesized research and sharing it in prospect records, or through a briefing or other deliverable.-Validating wealth screenings and identifying prospects to add to prospect pipeline**OTHER DEPARTMENTAL ACTIVITIES**• Develops, maintains, and expands upon prospect management expertise with continuing education and professionaldevelopment• Performs other duties as assigned by manager or VP of Institutional Advancement• Assist at IA-organized events as needed**CORE COMPETENCIES****Strategic Skills:** Has the functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level. Anticipates where the land mines are and plans his/her approach accordingly.**QUALIFICATIONS****REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:**· Minimum of 2 years of experience in fundraising or nonprofits, with demonstrated understanding of philanthropy and the donorcultivation process· Basic understanding of current research technologies and information search techniques, including online library sources, pay-subscription sources, public records, and Internet search.· Ability to work with relational databases (Raiser's Edge preferred), Microsoft Office, and electronic screening tools.• Skilled in verbal and written communication; time management; customer service skills.**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**· An appreciation of the culture of technical higher education· Experience in a customer service/client-facing position or other roles involving relationship management· Experience with analytics or business intelligence tools, such as advanced use of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, VBA)Tableau and Microsoft Power BI for data visualization and dashboard creation, Google Analytics for website behavior, orprogramming languages like Python, R, and SQL for advanced analysisSince our founding, all who have worked at Dunwoody have been dedicated to the success of every one of our students.
