The Maintenance Specialist performs various general building maintenance functions in a variety of skilled and semi‑skilled craft trades to support mechanical and electrical heating, ventilating and air‑conditioning machinery at designated Melwood properties. Responsibilities
Conduct repairs on Melwood properties including residential work in an efficient and workmanlike manner to include but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, painting, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, etc. Support the maintenance system by complying with all aspects of the paper flow and FMX system including but not limited to work requests, gas log and maintaining assigned vehicle. Play a major role in the general upkeep of the company property; snow/ice removal, applying ice melt, road maintenance, lawn and field mowing, erosion control, etc. Assist supervisors in identifying current and future maintenance needs while watching out for safety and fire hazards and report them promptly or take direct action. Assist other maintenance personnel in maintaining an efficient operation of the garage, including cleanup, inventory and tool control.
