We’re currently hiring for an Assistant Property Manager – someone who brings fresh thinking, follows through, and knows how to bring people together to get results.
Responsibilities
Accept move‑out notices, handle service requests and process resident transfers.
Implement lease renewal and resident retention programs.
Manage resident relations issues, including taking phone calls, requests and concerns.
Analyze weekly leasing reports and forecast occupancy trends.
Develop and track marketing strategies, including advertising, promotions and publications.
Manage rent collections, issue late notices and post rent.
Review and inspect vacancies, prepare make‑ready apartments and models.
Inspect the property for community policy violations, needed repairs and overall landscaping.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of related leasing or property management experience.
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to motivate and lead a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner.
Flexibility to work a schedule that includes weekends.
Capability to tour the community with clients, including walking the property and climbing stairs.
Position MAY require a valid driver’s license.
Benefits Typical base compensation range depending on experience: $25 to $27 per hour USD.
