National Life Group is seeking an experienced
Associate Director, Compensation
to lead key compensation initiatives, support the
Pay for Performance Review process , and consult with business leaders on compensation structures. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on professional who can manage compensation projects, enhance existing programs, and effectively communicate compensation policies across the organization. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Pay for Performance Review Process
– Develop project timelines, tools, and training materials, conduct educational sessions, and analyze compensation outcomes. Compensation Business Partner
– Advise business leaders and HR on job offers, salary structures, and best compensation practices. Compensation Education & Communication
– Provide training and educational resources to business leaders and employees. Job Evaluation & Benchmarking
– Assess roles, maintain job descriptions, and ensure market competitiveness. Compensation Surveys
– Manage survey submissions and analyze industry data for strategic recommendations. Ad-Hoc Projects
– Participate in cross-functional meetings and compensation-related projects. 15 years of combined education and experience in Compensation, HR, or related fields. Proven ability to
develop, implement, and enhance compensation programs . Strong
analytical and communication
skills to present complex compensation topics. Advanced
Excel
skills for data analysis and interactive tools. Experience with
PowerPoint, Teams/SharePoint, and compensation survey tools
(e.g., CompTool, PayScale, Salary.com, MarketPay). Preferred Qualifications:
Compensation experience in
financial services, insurance, or investment management
industries. Experience with
sales incentive plans or variable compensation plans . Process improvement and optimization expertise. Professional certifications:
CCP, PHR, SHRM-SCP, or similar . Texoma Association of Total Rewards is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
