The Associate, Investments will work closely with Investment team members to perform actuarial and financial modeling, sensitivity analysis, pro‑forma projection and big data analysis to improve portfolio performance, evaluate investment strategies, and support risk and capital management along with overall portfolio management. The role is responsible for building analytical tools, identifying and measuring key risk factors, and streamlining reporting to maximize efficiency and scale.
What You Will Do:
Support daily management of existing asset portfolios.
Build and review attribution tools to analyze key drivers and suggest ways to improve portfolio performance.
Collaborate with asset managers to develop investment recommendations based on market conditions.
Evaluate new investment opportunities and the efficacy of interest rates and FX hedging strategies.
Collaborate with other areas of the company to perform capital and risk analysis such as asset modeling, cash flow testing and economic valuation.
Review and enhance data flow and process efficiency.
Build strong working relationships across the firm.
What You Will Have:
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or financial discipline.
2 years of experience within investment banking environment, and/or financial analytics.
Strong analytical capabilities.
Knowledge of financial markets and investment products.
Knowledge of ALM, insurance products, and financial modeling experience.
Knowledge of Bloomberg and advanced Excel skills is preferred.
Familiarity with Python, R, Matlab, SQL is a plus.
Strong technical background in analysis and reporting using MS Office.
Ability to demonstrate leadership and ownership over responsibilities and ability to collaborate across various teams.
Excellent documentation habits, oral and written communication and presentation skills, including the ability to distill complex ideas into simple explanations.
Base Salary Range: $100,000 USD – $125,000 USD
