Experienced Associate | Restructuring Focused
Lincoln International invites you to apply for the Experienced Associate role focused on restructuring and distressed situations. This position is based in New York City and offers a dynamic environment where senior bankers collaborate with clients on complex financial engagements. Responsibilities
Conceptualize, organize, process, and deliver new business presentations. Contribute to transaction process planning and deal structuring conversations. Produce and review transaction marketing materials and complex integrated financial models. Manage Analysts to ensure timelines are met and quality is maintained. Act as key client point of contact, addressing day‑to‑day queries and discussing deal issues internally and with third parties. Identify and contact finance providers on transactions. Prepare term sheets and review loan agreements. Train and develop Analysts at the firm. Contribute to the team and the firm’s marketing efforts. Qualifications
At least 4‑6 years’ experience in leveraged finance or financial advisory services. Assertive, self‑motivated, and driven to succeed in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment. Ability to confidently and credibly connect with potential clients and lead client meetings. Excellent finance, accounting, and financial modeling skills, with strong business acumen. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience managing teams of Analysts and supervising senior bankers on deals. Degree in finance and/or accounting desirable, or completion of significant related coursework.
