Director, HR and Enterprise HR Business Partner

This role oversees all human resource activities & initiatives for the assigned business unit(s), collaborates with senior leaders to implement effective talent management strategies, fosters a high‑performance culture, and drives organizational effectiveness to accelerate business outcomes. The HRBP partners closely with our HR Centers of Excellence and serves as a key resource in executing enterprise HR programs.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to business unit leadership, providing expert guidance on all HR‑related matters.
Analyze organization health data and recommend actions that drive employee engagement, retention, talent development, and continuous improvement.
Implement and execute a long‑term talent management strategy, including talent pipelines, employee development, succession plans, and workforce planning.
Proactively resolve complex HR issues, working with employees and managers and advocating the best approach.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and implement HR initiatives, programs, and policies aligned with organizational goals.
Serve as an ambassador for Brunswick culture, supporting inclusion and belonging.
Execute key HR programs and initiatives to support business success across the enterprise, providing insight to HR Centers of Excellence.
Coordinate with HR counterparts across the enterprise to ensure alignment and flawless execution of HR activities for matrixed functions.
Manage and balance multiple demands and priorities to achieve optimal results.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field.
5+ years as an HR Business Partner or comparable experience.
Experience in organizational development and operating model changes.
Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies with overall business objectives.
Excellent learning agility, adapting quickly to new situations and concepts.
Strong problem‑solving and solution‑oriented mindset, thinking strategically and executing tactically.
Continuous improvement mindset, thriving in a transformative environment.
Demonstrated expertise in coaching, conflict resolution, influencing, relationship, and team building.
Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and HRIS systems (Workday a plus).
