Position Details Due to our continued growth, we are now seeking a detail‑driven, resourceful Skip Tracer/Collector for an immediate opening at our Corporate office in Kansas City, MO. This is an office‑only position with no field work.
Responsibilities
– The Skip Tracer/Collector is responsible for locating individuals with assets, particularly vehicles, subject to repossession using investigative tools, public records and online resources. This role requires a strong investigative mindset and analytical skills. Support work is Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Compensation
– This position starts at $19–20 /hr, depending on experience, plus paid time off, benefits and 401(k) eligibility.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in collections, skip tracing or investigations preferred
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong research and investigative skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
35 words per minute
Proficiency with computers, databases and software
Ability to adapt to fluctuating workflow
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to sit for long periods of time and walk/stand regularly
Ability to lift 1–15 pounds and perform physical tasks such as stooping, bending and kneeling
