We are partnering with a leading aggregate supplier in
Southwest Florida
to hire a
Mining Materials Sales Manager . This role is focused on developing new business while also managing an established book of accounts. The company operates multiple sites in the region and is rapidly growing its footprint into new territories.
This role offers a mix of business development and account management, with significant growth potential as the company expands into new markets. The position is primarily field-based, with occasional office check-ins.
Responsibilities
Build and grow relationships with contractors, developers, municipalities, and road builders who rely on aggregate products for major projects
Prospect and develop new business in expanding territories while managing existing customer accounts
Prepare bids, quotes, and contracts, negotiating pricing and delivery terms with full autonomy
Visit customer sites regularly to understand project needs and ensure proper material supply
Collaborate with operations to stay informed on inventory levels and product availability
Maintain accurate records in the company’s CRM (transitioning to Salesforce) and provide timely sales reports
Represent the company professionally while promoting long‑term partnerships and customer satisfaction

Qualifications
Previous sales experience in construction materials, aggregates, or related industries
Strong knowledge of the regional customer base (contractors, developers, municipalities, road builders) preferred
Hunter mentality with proven ability to build new relationships and grow sales territory
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage bids, site visits, and customer needs effectively
Self‑motivated, able to work independently in the field with minimal supervision
