Pay:

Base salary $55K + commission; total earnings $70K.

Location: Louisville, KY.

Raymond Storage Concepts is a leading provider of customized material handling solutions, dedicated to warehouse and fleet optimization, covering Ohio, Kentucky, Southeast Indiana and West Virginia. Headquartered in Cincinnati, it is an authorized sales and service center for Raymond Corporation.

Position Overview With guidance from the Business Intelligence Manager and Field Sales Manager, the Business Development Representative increases market share and awareness in the designated territory, generating new customers for the sales team. Products include lift trucks, aftermarket service and parts for Raymond and non‑Raymond equipment, industrial battery service, and other material handling solutions. The primary goal is to generate new sales opportunities and pass them on to other sales agents for conversion.

Key Responsibilities

Identify new business opportunities and leads via phone, email, and visits.

Travel locally for face‑to‑face meetings with current and prospective customers.

Develop and maintain relationships internally and with prospects.

Respond promptly to sales team members and prospects.

Log prospect data into CRM and maintain data integrity.

Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products or services.

Set up meetings, both in person and virtual, between prospects and sales team members.

Maximize opportunities with non‑Raymond Storage Concepts customers.

Use business intelligence reports and databases to create strategic contact plans.

Collaborate with other sales team members in a dynamic environment.

Drive multiple sales opportunities within one account to broaden product understanding.

Ride along with sales team members and learn selling techniques.

Contact vendors to prepare quotes and proposals for prospects.

Manage Outlook calendar and schedule between CRM, phone calls, and field time.

Attend training classes (online or in person) on products and services.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience working in a fast‑paced environment.

Persistence, drive, eagerness to learn, creativity, and competitiveness.

Strong communication skills; clear and professional.

Proficiency in MS Office Outlook and Excel.

Familiar with Google Maps.
