Join Ferrero Innovation Center as a Product Observatory Specialist, where you’ll play a key role in sourcing, archiving, and analyzing Ferrero and other products across the Asian market. You’ll manage and organize sensory analysis sessions, ensure timely and efficient sourcing, handling, archiving and shipping of the products, and contribute to innovation by sharing insights with both local and central teams.
Main Responsibilities:
Ensure timely and efficient sourcing, handling, archiving and shipping of most relevant Ferrero industrial products, in full alignment with the team
Manage documentation and certifications, and guarantee all the necessary back‑office and operative activities including required documents / certifications for product shipping, leveraging on Ferrero matter experts
Organize and conduct tasting sessions using various sensory analysis methods
Select and formalize local tasting panels, ensuring alignment with central methodologies
Prepare and present reports summarizing findings for internal and central teams
Develop and evaluate shelf life curves for tropical products, considering trade characteristics and consumer habits
Evaluate External Partners involvement to simplify some activities or explore other geographies/states
Coordinate product deliveries to and from the Innovation Center, oversee customs procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Conduct store checks and new products scouting, presenting findings to local and central stakeholders and proposing most interesting and innovative local products that could inspire local and central developments
About You:
University Degree in Food Technology or related field
Knowledge of Asian food cultures and a proactive approach to innovative food products; sensory analysis experience is desirable
Strong organizational skills for database management and archiving
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
No food allergies; must be able to taste raw materials and semi‑finished products
Physically able to handle packages/boxes (up to 4kg)
Willingness to travel
Fluent in English; knowledge of any other Asian language is a plus
