Fit In The Organization Business Development Representatives are the hunters of net new opportunities for the company. BDRs fill the pipeline for Inside/Field sales reps by setting qualified meetings. Once a meeting has been scheduled, it routes to the HPE sales rep and channel reseller. The BDR role is to increase sales through cold/warm calling prospects to create continuous opportunities for HPE by educating potential customers on the HPE portfolio. It is highly task‑oriented with strong sample KPI guidance.
Responsibilities
Enable sales opportunities by cold‑calling and warm‑calling prospects.
Schedule and set qualified meetings with potential customers.
Educate prospects on the HPE portfolio across data, connectivity, cloud, and security.
Maintain a consistent pipeline for Inside and Field sales teams.
Route meetings to appropriate sales representatives and channel resellers.
Achieve target metrics such as Calls per Day, Emails per Day, and Opportunities Created/Qualified.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills over the phone.
Ability to conceptualize and convey complex technical concepts simply.
Understanding of how HPE engages with the channel to build pipeline within acquisition target accounts.
