Senior Product Manager — Enterprise Subscription Services
State College, PA or New York, NY
Key Responsibilities Growth and Development:
Substantially accelerate the growth of the SMB subscription business.
Develop and implement a plan for a new SaaS portal that serves as a landing page for all SMB subscription products.
Actively support and advise the Product team to build out the SMB platform and explore new revenue opportunities.
Leverage the SMB portal to upsell existing customers into the larger enterprise business where possible.
Strategic Planning and Vision:
Collaborate with functional teams to define product vision and roadmap for the SMB subscription business, focusing on customer needs and revenue maximization.
Develop the strategy and market analysis to validate new products and expansion opportunities.
Prepare annual business plans, including profit, revenue, sales goals, personnel budgets, and investment needs.
Performance and Metrics:
Develop metrics and KPIs to evaluate platform performance and iterate based on learnings to maximize growth.
Create and track annual budgets for the division.
Market and Competitor Analysis:
Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and vertical expansion in the SMB product suite.
Conduct competitor analysis and benchmark against industry leaders to ensure SMB products are competitive and innovative.
Collaboration and Leadership:
Collaborate with product, business development, and marketing teams to lead the growth of the subscription business and align revenue strategy with overall company objectives.
Work with marketing to develop a targeted customer acquisition strategy.
Foster a culture of experimentation and ideation, seeking continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in B2B/SaaS business experience
Experience in SaaS business strategies and models
Successful track record in building SMB products and digital subscription offerings.
Demonstrated ability to develop new subscription products
Demonstrated success in effective project and personnel management.
Experience working in a high‑tech or similar environment preferred.
Superior written and oral communication skills with a history of influencing decision‑making across all management levels.
Previous experience in a matrixed environment.
Knowledge of meteorology or science is helpful.
Deep understanding of operations principles and practices, capable of turning strategies into actionable operational plans.
Ability to work in an entrepreneurial work environment where self‑motivated individuals succeed.
Masters or equivalent combination of education and experience.
