About the Role You will lead the transformation of Databricks' sales operations as we expand our global salesforce by a factor of two over the next several years. Your job is to transform today's manual, high-touch processes into automated systems - so account splits, territory changes, and tool provisioning occur seamlessly without sellers having to chase anyone down. You'll own the sales ops roadmap end-to-end and manage a distributed team of contractors and employees across the U.S., Costa Rica, and India, supporting thousands of sellers. You report to the Senior Director of Go-to-Market Operations and partner closely with Sales, Finance, IT, and HR leadership.

The Impact You Will Have
Own and execute the sales operations transformation roadmap, building automated systems that can support 2x growth in sellers globally
Operationalize our annual plan: partner with our planning and IT teams to turn territory design, consumption & commit quotas, capacity modeling, etc., into reality in our systems of truth (SFDC, Anaplan)
Design automation for high-volume workflows, including territory management, account assignments, compensation administration, and tool provisioning
Drive system implementations and manage the technology roadmap for sales operations tools (Salesforce, Anaplan, Xactly)
Lead cross-functional initiatives with Sales, Revenue Operations, IT, Finance, and HR to modernize infrastructure
Serve as a strategic advisor to VP-level sales leaders on operations strategy and resource planning
Build and develop a globally distributed team with a focus on AI-powered Scale, automation, efficiency, and service excellence
What You'll Bring Required:
8+ years in strategy and operations, sales operations, revenue operations, field operations, or sales/pre-sales roles—with a track record of building operational excellence at scale
Experience leading business transformation at a high-growth technology company ($100M+ annual recurring revenue preferred)
Knowledge of annual planning, consumption-based models, and territory/quota design—whether from the field or an operations role
Hands‑on experience with Salesforce
Working knowledge of planning tools (such as Anaplan), business intelligence platforms, and service ticketing systems (such as FreshService or JIRA Service Management)
Experience delivering complex programs in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
Experience managing distributed teams across multiple time zones
Proven bias to action and focus on delivery amongst uncertainty
Ability to advise and influence VP-level and above stakeholders
Preferred:
Experience at a hyper‑growth company (3x+ revenue growth within 3 years)
Experience in leveraging AI to automate GTM employee jobs-to-be-done
Background as a seller, solutions engineer, or customer success manager
Experience in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy
Familiarity with consumption-oriented GTM
Experience with Databricks or a similar platform as used within a GTM Operations framework
Experience with international operations (EMEA, APJ)

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected base salary range for non‑commissionable roles or on‑target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job‑related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipated utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above. Zone 1 Pay Range: $173,700 — $243,225 USD
Zone 2 Pay Range: $156,400 — $218,875 USD
Zone 3 Pay Range: $147,600 — $206,700 USD
