Job Description
This position will support a territory including Washington, DC, Arlington, VA, and Alexandria, VA.
Summary As a Business Development Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our company's growth by identifying and acquiring new business opportunities. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to reach and exceed sales targets. This role requires a combination of strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and a results‑oriented mindset.
Effective January 2026, this will be a Non‑MIP FT Sales Management position with an enhanced sales incentive plan.
Key Responsibilities Prospecting and Lead Generation
Identify and research potential clients through various channels.
Generate new leads and opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other outreach methods.
Collaborate with marketing teams to leverage inbound leads and campaigns.
Value Analysis and Presentation
Conduct compelling presentations to showcase our products/services and highlight their value proposition.
Effectively communicate the benefits of our solutions to potential clients.
Market and Product Communication
Understand clients' needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of product components, design, features and benefits when communicating product features or design and tailoring the message to meet customer needs.
Sales Strategy and Planning
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
Negotiation and Closing
Negotiate terms and conditions with potential clients to secure new business.
Close deals efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Collaboration
Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless client experience.
Qualifications
Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with a focus on new business acquisition.
Strong understanding of logistics and the ability to articulate our value proposition effectively.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Self‑motivated with a results‑oriented mindset.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic work environment.
Willing to travel.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Applicants must be currently located in the same geographic area as the position or willing to self‑relocate, as relocation assistance is not available.

Pay Range The salary range for this position is $55.860,00/year to $97.800,00/year. Actual compensation is based on various factors such as location, job‑related knowledge, skills, education/training, and work experience. This position is eligible for our sales incentive plan and offers the annual management incentive plan, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Incentives are not guaranteed and are dependent upon individual and/or company performance.
