Representing an industry‑leading environmental and construction organization who offers full‑service solutions for clients who store, consume, or sell petroleum products, we are searching for a Senior Sales Representative. Areas covered include Metro NY; CT; PA; DE; Long Island; NJ
Primary Focus: The Senior Sales Representative will be responsible for the growth of existing customer relationships and the development of new relationships and business opportunities. The ideal candidate is well‑organized, has excellent communication skills, and is goal and results driven.
Commission/Bonus Opportunities Available
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Achieve individual sales goals established annually.
Establish new relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
Drive sales through the growth of existing clients.
Generate new sales opportunities by cold calling, networking, and relationship referrals.
Work closely with the Estimating Department to assist in preparation of bids and proposals. i.e. inspect, scope, and photograph prospective projects.
Participate in Estimating Meetings/Conference Calls.
Ensure client bids are consistent, thorough, and well written.
Track and follow up on all “pending” bids and estimates with customers.
Assist with marketing/sales strategy (i.e. trade shows, advertising, etc.) to develop higher name recognition within our industry.
Participate in Monthly Sales Calls.
Utilize Salesforce CRM system.
Assist in developing annual budgeted sales.
Support the Finance Department with collections.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of sales experience (preferably in the Services / Environmental / Construction industry).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to travel as needed.
