Director of Strategy, Human Capital Management
As a Director of Product Strategy in Human Capital Management software for the public sector, you will help define product direction and ensure client-focused solutions. We seek a proactive problem-solver with strong collaboration skills and HCM expertise to be a thought leader, drive strategy, market leadership, revenue, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Serve as the resident expert in Human Capital Management (HCM). Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions and product development efforts.
Develop and refine strategic initiatives that align with the company's overall objectives and market dynamics. Identify opportunities for innovation, differentiation, and competitive advantage within the public sector Human Capital Management software landscape.
Conduct comprehensive market analyses to assess customer needs, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities to expand our product offerings, and drive revenue growth.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, product management, and engineering teams to conceptualize, prioritize, and roadmap software applications tailored for public sector HCM clients. Define product requirements, features, and functionalities based on customer feedback, market research, and industry best practices.
Establish yourself as a thought leader in the public sector HCM software space through participation in industry conferences, speaking engagements, podcasts, and publication of white papers or articles.
Leverage strategic thinking and persuasive communication skills to align cross-functional teams around a shared product vision, secure stakeholder buy-in and drive successful execution of key initiatives.
Scope & Impact This is a senior position with significant responsibility in the strategic direction of our products. The role will conduct market research, analyze findings, and propose major project initiatives to improve our position in the public sector market. The role requires travel to meet with prospects, consultants, clients, attend demonstrations, and industry-related conferences.
Complexity Deep understanding of Human Capital operations, processes, and challenges in the public sector. Driving strategic initiatives from conception to execution, delivering measurable results in revenue growth, market share expansion, and operational efficiency improvement. Leverage your expertise to elevate the company's brand, credibility, and influence within the market.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Human Resource Management, Computer Information Systems, or similar
Experience and technical acumen with AI
Minimum of seven years of experience required
Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
Willingness to travel 25-30%
Professional certifications in applicable areas of expertise a plus
State-Specific Salary Range Disclosure Requirements Salary will generally fall between $115,000 - $152,000 before adjustment for geographic differences. Recruiter can confirm if position is incentive eligible.
