Summary
MS Technology is seeking a Designer to support client projects by preparing detailed control panel and custom mechanical equipment design drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCad Electrical software. The role includes providing QA/QC support, ensuring deliverables meet rigorous standards, and collaborating effectively in client environments.
Responsibilities
Perform detailed design activities to include:
Preparation of control panel drawings using AutoCad Electrical; enclosure front, back plate layout and details, cutout details, associated wiring diagrams and Bill of Materials.
Preparation of mechanical equipment fabrication drawings using Inventor – assemblies, details and Bill of Materials.
Provides checking support for deliverables.
Design activities are conducted following regimented quality assurance / quality control procedures.
Required Experience
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience utilizing Inventor.
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience utilizing AutoCad Electrical.
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in related field.
High School Diploma.
Microsoft Office Suite.
Client projects for this position require US Citizenship.
Additional Skills
Excellent customer service and communications skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to deal with conflicts and stressful situations.
Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint.
