Experienced Stone Fabricator & Polisher – Granite & Quartz Countertops (Construction)
Location: Solon, OH
Our busy countertop shop needs an experienced fabricator/polisher. ShopB (our post-CNC shop) is built for hand finishing and quality control with two auto feed-through machines, two overhead gantry cranes, a bridge saw and spacious, well-lit benches.
What you'll do:
Profile, grind, sand, glue and polish granite, quartz and other stone surfaces.
Cut and assemble mitered and built-up edges, join seams, and repair chips to meet exact specs.
Operate hand tools and shop equipment, including the bridge saw and feed-through machines, and use the gantry cranes for safe slab handling.
Keep your bench clean and follow all safety protocols.
Help in other departments when needed.
What we're looking for:
3+ years experience in stone fabrication or polishing.
Ability to read templates, operate grinders/polishers and deliver high-quality hand finishing.
Attention to detail and the ability to stand and work with your hands for extended periods.
Comfort lifting and moving slabs with assistance (our gantry cranes do the heavy lifting).
