What you will do As a Sales Representative, you will strategically promote and sell Stryker Craniomaxillofacial (CMF) and Neurosurgical products to meet our customers’ needs. You confidently conduct product evaluations in OR and office settings, persuasively demonstrating the value of our products. Systematically track your territory progress, proactively communicate your wins with your Regional Manager and push yourself to exceed each goal. When onsite with clients, you use your product knowledge and quick thinking to solve product problems and inform doctors, nurses and other staff on proper use and maintenance. You take great pride in excellent service and are prepared to assist customers whenever the need arises. You love living in the fast lane and find purpose in selling Stryker products that are making healthcare better.
Job at Stryker’s CMF / Neurosurgical Business Units
Perform field calls for the assigned territory, including on‑call and OR/ER consultation.
Cross‑sell additional products or manage new product introductions as they become available.
Address any problems that arise on the account.
Maintain compliance, privacy and confidentiality of information, adhering to laws, regulations and company policies.
Coach, train or mentor Sales Associates as needed.
Maintain training in sales skills and products.
Remain current on industry, customer and competitive trends.
Participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours, as required.
What you need
5+ years in an outside sales position (medical related fields or B2B sales preferred) or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with at least 2+ years of outside sales experience preferred.
Travel requirement
Approximately 20% travel. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive an automobile.
Physical requirements
Medium work: exerting up to 50 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 20 lbs of force constantly to move objects.
Coordination of eye, hand and foot movement with the ability to grasp by hand and meet cognitive demands including visual and auditory discrimination, reading ability and memory retention.
Mental requirements
Exercise discretion and independence when applying professional expertise.
Manage time, projects, stress and conflict.
Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication.
Complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Prioritize work and keep detailed, confidential records.
Communicate and present to large groups of people.
