Senior Assistant Superintendent

Senior Assistant Superintendent We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Assistant Superintendent to join our team at The Woodlands Country Club Player Course and take charge of overseeing the daily operations of our golf course maintenance program. As a key member of our management team, you will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and assist in planning and implementing turf care programs, irrigation systems maintenance, pest control, and equipment management. The Senior Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for supervising a team of groundskeepers and technicians, ensuring that all tasks are carried out efficiently and to the highest standards.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in golf course maintenance

Thorough knowledge of turfgrass management practices

Strong leadership and communication skills

Experience with irrigation systems and equipment maintenance

Ability to develop and manage operating budgets

Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices

Degree in Turf Management or related field preferred
