are now open! An intensive 6-week interdisciplinary summer program scheduled to take place from
June 15th to July 24th, 2026, at Yale University, New Haven.
A prestigious summer programme hosted by the Yale School of Public Health (YSPD) aims to equip undergraduate students with skills to tackle the challenges related to Health Big Data and inspire students to pursue their education & research in desired fields.
The institute is inviting applications from
undergraduate students currently pursuing their degree program or recent graduates from recognized institutes.
Applicants from a wide range of academic backgrounds, including the sciences, technology & engineering, Health & life sciences, Humanities & Social Sciences, are invitied to apply. The programme is accepting applications from both US and International students. This is your chance to gain hands‑on research exposure while working on
real‑world health projects under the supervision and guidance of Yale Faculty members.
The BSDY summer programme offers generous support to participants covering on‑campus accommodation, stipend, travel support, and more. Individuals interested in the programme need to submit their applications

Eligibility Criteria
Accepting applications from both US and Non-US nationals
Students currently enrolled in the Undergraduate degree program
Preference will be given to an undergraduate rising junior
Recent graduates are also invitied to apply
Master’s students in their early stages of the degree may also apply
It’s an interdisciplinary program, with individuals from various academic backgrounds, such as sciences, Health and Life Science, Technology and Engineering, Social Sciences, and Humanities
Students must have good academic standing
Proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written
Coverage The Big Data Summer Immersion at Yale University offers comprehensive support to the participants. The coverage includes:
Participants will recieve a stipend of $1,600 for the program duration
A travel allowance of
$750 to/from New Haven, USA
Comprehensive health coverage for the program duration
Participants will gain hands‑on research exposure while working on real‑world health data projects
Work under the mentorship and guidance of Yale faculty mentors
Interdisciplinary training in the areas of Statistics, engineering, computer science, and related areas
Networking opportunities with peers and experts in your fields
Exposure to the Yale Institute of Graduate Studies
Gain valuable insights into career paths
