Overview The

Outside Sales Coordinator

is responsible for supporting the relationship building, planning and execution of outside sales opportunities. Main categories of focus include: hospitals and hospital systems, corporations and wellness organizations who are looking for the ability to outfit their staff or clients on their premises.

What you'll do:

Work with Outside Sales Manager to identify and generate sales opportunity leads within the greater Chicagoland area

Ensure a Fleet Feet fit experience is being maintained at outside (off‑site) selling events

Create and plan assortments based on sales projections and opportunities

Manage and balance inventory before and after sales events

Collaborate with operations team to ensure all vehicles, materials and product are being properly maintained and inventoried

Support all Fleet Feet initiatives, activities and functions

Work schedule will be based upon the demands of the business. In a typical week, this position will work 1-2 days out of the business office and 3-4 days off‑site or at the distribution center based on sales opportunities being scheduled. In addition, during key company events additional time in the retail stores and/or offsite will be required

Qualifications

Strong business acumen and retail industry knowledge, preferred

Strong ability to coach and influence without direct authority

Valid driver’s license

Frequent moderate to heavy (20‑50+ lb) lifting and carrying, bending and reaching overhead may be required

Travel, including overnight stays, required

Additional Requirements - Hours of work for this position may vary based on work schedule. Position requires moving around for periods of 2-4 hours without a rest break task sequencing, and using point‑of‑sale computers. Occasional moderate to heavy (10-25+ lb) lifting and carrying, bending and reaching overhead may be required. Work environment includes substantial communication with customers, working in a retail environment with product displays and stockroom with inventory, and potentially slippery surfaces.
