This role reports into our Specialty Chemical Distribution (SCD) Division located in Germantown, WI.

You will qualify potential sales targets and work with Engineering Sales Representatives to generate sales leads, close new business opportunities, and assist in achieving sales/territory growth goals. You will also participate in account planning with Outside Sales and actively participate in the planning and launching of targeted marketing campaigns. Conduct research on accounts to verify potential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides product availability, material changes, web pricing, and order management details as a liaison to the end customer.

Partners with outside sales representatives for territory and business development.

Prospects potential sales targets utilizing targeted marketing campaigns while utilizing a Customer Relationship Management System (CRM).

Identifies, develops, and maintains relationships with key decision makers at assigned customers.

Reviews sales pipeline reports to ensure advancement of the sale and nurturing of the lead and to provide accurate volumes and forecasts.

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of Inside Sales, Account Management and/or Customer Service or other related industrial experience and/or training or equivalent experience.

Demonstrated ability to operate successfully in Google Docs and/or Microsoft Office, CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and ERP software.

Very good negotiation and problem‑solving skills.

Successful business acumen skills.

Thorough and attentive to details.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated sense of urgency.

Proven ability to take initiative.

Effective time management and organizational skills.

Associate degree in a college or technical field preferred.

Occasional domestic travel (5%-10%).
