ADB is seeking an OSP Inspector to conduct daily quality inspections on utility construction projects to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, reviewing project plans and contracts to confirm adherence to specifications, and preparing and submitting quality control reports to leadership. Additionally, the role requires regular communication with internal and external stakeholders to address any non-compliance issues, overseeing subcontractor quality and production, managing traffic for construction activities, etc. The ideal candidate an experienced professional with expertise in utility construction inspection with strong communication skills, detail‑oriented skills, and a strong work ethic and

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform quality inspections on work currently performed or work that has been recently completed for all utility construction projects by visiting project sites daily to ensure work is completed in compliance with safety and quality expectations and project specifications
Review utility construction plans, schematics, and contracts to understand project requirements to ensure adherence to construction maps are being followed by construction crews
Prepare and submit quality control reports for leadership
Communicate with internal and external leadership daily, escalating out-of-compliance work, safety, or quality control concerns
Maintain inspection records, material verifications, quality control inspections necessary to certify the work was completed according to the plans & specifications using electronic systems, written/oral feedback, photographs, drawings, diagrams, illustrations, spreadsheets, and reports.
Is a subject matter expert in QAQC functions to drive change, improvements, and escalated corrections within utility construction operations
Review permits and Right‑Of‑Way (ROW) considerations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and coordinating the completion of "As‑Built" forms for delivery to relevant stakeholders
Manage traffic for all construction activities to ensure the safety of workers and the public, while also collecting, tracking, analyzing, and reporting on permit status, construction prints, and closeout documents as required by the customer
Collect, track, analyze, and report on permit status, construction prints, closeout documents and any other specific items requested by the client
Oversee subcontractor quality and production, monitoring their performance to ensure alignment with project goals and standards
Performs other duties as assigned by leadership

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, including climbing, sitting, standing, walking, and driving
Regular exposure to all weather conditions, especially hot, humid and/or rainy spring, summer and fall weather, combined with regular work time indoors in environmentally controlled conditions
May be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels on sites of projects being managed or coordinated
When working on site, will be required to wear common protective safety equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, and life jackets
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
3+ years of utility construction knowledge required
High School diploma or equivalent required
The starting pay for this position is $55,000 annually, and may vary based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
