Registered Dietitian – Senior Living
Senior Living Communities, LLC , based in Charlotte, owns and manages luxury retirement communities and related senior living care entities in Connecticut, New Jersey, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
The RD is responsible for administering and ensuring that the dining experience, at the highest level, in Senior Living Facilities is nutritionally sound, safe, healthy, and fulfilling for all Residents. This position must be located near our Home Office in Charlotte or one of our communities. 3–4 days per week travel is required. Prior experience in a similar role is desired. Registered Dietitian certification is required.
Responsibilities
Ensure nutritional screening, food preferences, and food acceptance are accurately obtained, monitored, and recorded in the medical record in accordance with state/federal regulations and facility guidelines.
Add any food and/or fluid-related interventions to plans of care.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required.
Master’s degree desired.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Senior Living is desired.
Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required.
Location and Travel Based in Charlotte, NC (or one of the communities). 3–4 days per week travel required.
Compensation Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 (based on experience).
