Our ideal candidate has at least two years of group sales experience at a similarly sized property, is hungry for success, highly motivated, and skilled at overcoming objections. They excel at prospecting and finding new business opportunities, are driven to exceed goals, and thrive in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented environment.

Shift Pattern:

This role is primarily Monday–Friday 8:30 am–5:00 pm with the ability to be flexible with time to accommodate client engagement events and site inspections.

Pay Rate:

This role is an hourly role and qualifies for a bonus incentive program.

What Will I Be Doing?

Research, solicit and generate new leads for group opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts, maximizing new room revenue streams to meet and exceed lead generation goals.

Represent the hotel in the development of market segments and new customer relationships while maintaining existing relations with assigned accounts, consistently striving to maximize revenue and profitability for all hotel revenue streams.

Develop a business strategy by analyzing historical, current and future hotel and market trends and implementing marketing initiatives to capture the maximum amount of lead revenue to meet and exceed sales goals.

Demonstrate strong sales, communication and networking skills; apply a disciplined approach to qualify, negotiate and secure new revenue for the hotel.

Customer and Account Management

– create customer value, differentiate Hilton from the competition and bring clear value to customers and the organizations they represent.

Prospecting

– demonstrate mastery of the prospecting process, identify potential customers, and prepare and implement a call strategy.

Negotiations

– understand the customer and the business leaders’ expectations, adapt to a changing market.

Actively engage with Hilton Worldwide Sales, the Convention Bureau and intermediaries to retain existing customers and secure new business for the hotel.

Develop and execute plans to engage in outside sales calls, industry tradeshows and customer events.

Develop, execute and communicate a monthly, quarterly and annual business plan for a designated market.

Maintain an up‑to‑date pipeline of business opportunities that meet the short and long‑term business objectives for the designated market.

Represent the hotel in all interactions dealing with customers relative to sales, including creating business proposals and executing contracts.

Conduct site inspections through masterful storytelling with prospective and existing customers based on their individual needs.

Coordinate customer specifications (room, food & beverage and meeting space requirements) via the identified lead management system; enter and maintain pertinent account and booking information in Delphi FDC in accordance with defined standards.

Research, solicit and generate new leads for business opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts, maximizing new room revenue and meeting lead generation goals.

Create and execute a plan to shift share from competitors.

Engage in outside sales activities to uncover needs, build relationships and win new business.

Negotiate contracts and commission agreements with end‑user customers and intermediaries.

Provide solutions that achieve and protect financial goals of the hotel while strengthening relationships with customers.

Engage Hilton Worldwide Sales and Hilton Legal to support the contracting process when needed.

What are We Looking For?

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Minimum Years of Experience: Minimum of one year of hotel experience in guest contact areas; previous sales experience preferred.

Ability to travel on short notice and adapt to schedule changes.

Highly professional presentations and oral and written communication skills.
