Job Duties

Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.

Provide comfort‑focused personal care, including bathing, grooming, repositioning, and mobility assistance.

Assist with meal preparation and ensure safe, peaceful surroundings.

Monitor and report changes in client comfort, condition, or needs to the care team.

Maintain a calm, patient presence and help support the client’s preferred routines.

Engage clients in gentle, meaningful activities when appropriate.

Support families by offering reassurance, updates, and compassionate communication.

Qualifications

You are deeply compassionate and patient, especially in emotionally sensitive situations.

You are comfortable providing personal care and emotional support.

You communicate warmly and respectfully with clients, families, and care teams.

You are committed to helping others experience comfort and dignity.

Experience in hospice, palliative care, or caregiving is a plus but not required—training is provided.
