As the Sales Specialist, Uro‑Oncology, you will be a critical part of a customer‑facing team responsible for promoting our intravesical gene therapy.

The role covers Grand Rapids, Michigan (you must reside in or near Grand Rapids and be within close proximity to a major airport).

Responsibilities

Promote and sell Ferring products to achieve or exceed sales quotas.

Maintain regular contact with current and prospective customers.

Submit timely and accurate reports to management and stakeholders.

Participate in sales field rides and follow through on developmental opportunities based on results.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Deploy and manage territory resources, including marketing materials, programs, and approved sales tools.

Build and develop effective relationships with approved and targeted customers.

Monitor and manage district expenses, budgets, and sample allotments.

Represent Ferring at professional industry meetings and seminars.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

Minimum 4 years of experience in buy‑and‑bill medical or pharmaceutical sales.

Strong experience (2+ years) in oncology and/or urology; bladder cancer experience preferred.

Ability to meet or exceed sales objectives.

Ability to identify potential customers and expand the customer base.

Ability to meet expense management requirements.

Able to meet demand‑generation goals.

Physical Requirements

Sitting 3–4 hours at a time while driving or as a passenger and operating a vehicle up to 60% of the time.

Walking up to 15% of the time.

Climbing stairs and/or ramps may be required in certain urban territories.

Standing more than 1–2 hours at a time.

Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling items weighing up to 20 pounds into and out of vehicles and medical facilities.

Long‑distance air travel approximately 2–3 times per year; additional overnight or longer travel may be required.

Compensation and Benefits Base salary: $120,000 – $170,000 (range based on experience).

Bonus is based on annual sales commissions tied to individual and geographic performance.
