Job Overview
Our client, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Field Primary Casualty Production Underwriter to join their Idaho team. This role focuses on developing strategic relationships with local wholesale brokers / agents while acting as a key liaison between corporate strategy and local implementation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding within the Commercial Casualty Middle Market sector and proven success within a sales / production underwriting environment. They will play a critical role in expanding market presence, driving growth, and expanding our client's footprint throughout the Idaho region. This is a remote position with occasional travel required to meet with brokers and implement strategies at the local level. Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with company's strategic goals. Develop and execute growth strategies to expand market presence and increase revenue. Establishand maintain strong relationships with agents, producers, brokers, and other key stakeholders. Act as a primary point of contact, addressing client needs and fostering long-term partnerships. Work closely with the underwriting team to align on risk appetite, ensure product suitability, and maximize new business acquisition while maintaining profitability standards. Partner with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns, promotional materials, and presentations that communicate our value proposition effectively to prospective clients. Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Commercial Casualty Underwriting, Business Development, or Sales; Non-Admitted experience is strongly preferred. Deep understanding of insurance products, commercial lines markets, and industry trends. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with large national brokers and key stakeholders. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Professional designations such as CPCU or ARM are a plus. Salary & Benefits
