HVAC Mechanic

What You’ll Do • Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems (residential & commercial) • Perform routine inspections, tune-ups, and preventative maintenance • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant issues • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals • Ensure compliance with building codes and OSHA safety standards • Collaborate with team members on project planning and execution • Mentor junior technicians and support team development What We’re Looking For • Minimum 1 year of hands-on HVAC service experience • Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems • Ability to read schematics and blueprints • EPA Universal Certification preferred • Refrigeration experience is a plus • Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills • Professional appearance and positive attitude • Must provide own tools and appropriate workwear • Clean driving record (Company truck provided) Compensation & Benefits • Competitive pay: $22.00 – $35.00/hour or $44,000 – $70,000/year (based on experience) • Quarterly performance bonuses & commission pay • Overtime opportunities • Paid time off (PTO) & holidays • Health, dental, vision, and life insurance • Simple IRA retirement plan • Company truck provided • Career advancement opportunities Schedule • Monday to Friday (Day Shift) • On-call rotation, occasional weekends & overtime Why A Stepping Stone, Inc?
