Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves according to provided instructions (pick lists or scanners).
- Ensure the correct items and quantities are selected for each order.
- Inspect picked items for any damage before moving them to the packing area.
- Stage picked orders for subsequent processing by packing and shipping teams.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or issues with products to supervisors immediately.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely as needed.
- Participate in inventory counts and other warehouse activities as directed.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and accuracy standards.
- This role requires regular lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
- Work cooperatively with team members to achieve overall warehouse goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product information.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Basic understanding of inventory procedures.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
