Medical Billing Specialist – Account Rep/Sales Rep

The Medical Billing Representative shall embody the Company’s Core Values in all aspects of the customer service processes. Our objective is to reach and exceed our clients’ goals as individuals and as a team. He/She shall be responsible for achieving the assigned weekly/monthly/quarterly objectives representing one or more of the company’s service or product offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Function as a Company/Clients practice liaison
  • Culture and contribute to a successful client relationship management
  • Gather, generate, and provide performance metrics to upper management and clients
  • Coordinate coding, billing & collection aspects requiring clients’ intervention
  • Address enrollment, coding, billing, and collection inquiries with the help of the teams
  • Contribute to the coordination of processes related to coding, billing, and collection for our clients across multiple departments
  • Answer questions from clients, attorneys, patients, insurance companies, and other entities
  • Assist with prompt resolution of complaints
  • Professionally represent our firm when providing support to our clients
  • Receive, document, and transfer to the appropriate department support inquiries
  • Follow up on internal departments and external entities as necessary per protocols
  • Obtain positive reviews and feedback when closing the support interactions
  • Communicate regularly with internal teammates and management to support objectives to be achieved on a planned and consistent basis
  • Train and mentor new hires as the department grows
  • Assist in presenting promotions while demonstrating outstanding service and product
  • Engage in the sales process as required or as assigned
  • Perform discovery calls/zooms or follow up on inbound prospective clients’ inquiries
  • Draft prospective clients’ requirements based on Company’s services
  • Assist the Enrollment Department during new client onboarding
  • Represent the company and provide an overview of our processes to prospective clients
  • Perform prospecting, development, and sales activities using a variety of company resources
  • Meet customer satisfaction scores and sales goals weekly, monthly, and quarterly

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Medical Billing Certification required

Experience

  • Working experience in Medical Billing
  • Working experience in Customer Service
  • Supervisory Experience Preferred

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with productivity tools, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficient with CRM and support systems
  • Proficient with computer programs

Physical Demands

It requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment.

Compensation

  • Pay rate and compensation structure will be finalized in the offer letter for the chosen candidates. The pay rate advertised may be used as a reference.
  • Supplemental Pay: Bonus production pay based on KPIs.
