Responsibilities
- Advising corporate clients on local and overseas tax affairs, and acting as a strategic consultant on business analysis, managing working capital and profit sharing for partners.
- Providing analysis on pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, and advising on tax implications of deals.
- Helping clients navigate the frequently changing and complex national and international tax environment related to stringent capital requirements, managing operational tax risks, and tax implications of investing in different jurisdictions.
- Assisting with tax structuring and addressing challenges of a continuously changing tax world, both locally and globally.
- Coaching team members, recognizing strengths, and encouraging ownership of personal development.
- Using data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision‑making.
- Upholding PwC’s code of ethics and business conduct.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum four years of experience in tax consulting and corporate tax services.
- CPA credential or other tax, technology, or finance‑specific certification.
- Proven record of success in dealing with tax issues facing multinational U.S. companies or publicly traded entities, especially in tax consulting, tax reporting, and compliance.
- Experience with automation, digitization, and technology solutions in a professional services environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage engagements, prepare concise documentation, and balance project economics.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a positive team environment, monitor workloads, and respect team members’ work‑life quality.
