Salary: $120k+/yr based on experience
LaSante Health Center is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead and oversee its nursing department. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise and proven leadership experience in managing nursing teams, preferably within a community health or primary care setting. They will ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting the professional growth and development of nursing staff.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing staff and clinical support teams
Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies, procedures, and best practices
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, standards, and quality initiatives
Maintain nursing supplies, inventory and vaccines inventory
Collaborate with physicians, providers, and administrators to optimize patient care and workflow efficiency
Support recruitment, training, and evaluation of nursing staff
Complete additional tasks as directed by Assistant medical Director/Medical Director and COO
Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
Nursing experience
Strong knowledge of clinical operations
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
