In this role, you will be responsible for managing tax preparation and compliance tasks for a diverse range of clients, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. - Prepare detailed individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns while ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws.
- Oversee tax compliance engagements from initial planning through completion, collaborating with clients and internal teams to meet deadlines.
- Conduct in-depth research on tax-related issues and provide actionable recommendations for strategic planning.
- Mentor and guide less experienced staff by offering training, technical advice, and constructive feedback.
- Present tax findings and strategies to clients in a clear, thorough manner, addressing their questions and concerns.
- Utilize tax preparation software such as CCH ProSystem Fx to efficiently manage client data and reporting.
- Monitor changes in tax regulations and advise clients on implications and opportunities.
- Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and high-quality deliverables.
- Proficient in preparing individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations, with the ability to perform thorough research.
- Proven ability to manage tax compliance projects from start to finish.
- Experience supervising and mentoring entry-level team members in a detail-oriented setting.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification or eligibility is highly desirable.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
