Introduction to Team

Our Corporate Functions include Employee Communications, Finance, Legal, People Team, Inclusion and Diversity, and Global Social Impact and Sustainability.

Reporting to the Director of Global Tax Reporting, the Senior Analyst will support the end‑to‑end tax life cycle, focusing on U.S. federal and state income tax and participating in income tax planning, financial reporting, federal and state income tax compliance, income tax controversy, and special projects.

In this role you will:

U.S. Tax Compliance

  • Prepare taxable income calculations and forecasts
  • Assist with the preparation of income tax returns and supporting workpapers
  • Prepare estimated tax payments
  • Maintain audit‑ready workpapers in accordance with the team’s documentation standards

Financial Reporting

  • Support the U.S. GAAP interim and annual income tax provision
  • Compute return‑to‑provision adjustments
  • Prepare payable and deferred proof calculations
  • Prepare internal control documentation for SOX compliance

Tax Controversy

  • Resolve federal and state notices
  • Respond to income tax audit requests and assist with audit management

Planning and Legislative

  • Prepare tax forecasts and scenario modeling
  • Research and analyze the tax effects of legislative changes

Transactions

  • Support transactions including mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, financing arrangements, and business initiatives
  • Prepare calculations and memoranda documenting related tax effects
  • Summarize the effective tax rate impacts and disclosure considerations

Tax Operations

  • Support the evolution of tax technology tools and technological enhancements
  • Support ongoing process transformation
  • Prepare and maintain process documentation

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Accounting or Tax
  • CPA license preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant experience with public accounting and/or industry experience
  • Sufficient knowledge of U.S. federal and state income tax concepts
  • Ability to work successfully in a high‑performing environment, with a strong desire to learn and grow
  • Self‑starter with strong critical thinking skills, problem‑solving abilities, and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with CorpTax, Power BI, Altertyx, and / or Oracle Tax Reporting Cloud Service (“TRCS”) is a plus
  • Willingness to learn new software or systems

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $82,500.00 to $115,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $132,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
