Service Writer / Technician Advisor – Kubota Dealership (Coldwater, MI) Location: Kings Equipment Group – Coldwater, Michigan Position Type: Full-Time | Hourly | Pay Based on Experience Kings Equipment Group, an authorized Kubota Tractor and Equipment dealership , is seeking an experienced and motivated Service Writer / Technician Advisor to join our Coldwater, MI team. About the Role This position plays a key role in supporting our service department and ensuring that customers receive timely, accurate, and professional service. The Service Writer / Tech Advisor will coordinate between customers, technicians, and the parts department to keep repairs moving efficiently and accurately. Primary Responsibilities: Write and manage service repair orders for agricultural, construction, and turf equipment Communicate with customers regarding diagnostics, estimates, and repair progress Work directly with technicians to guide and prioritize work in the shop Coordinate with the parts department to identify, order, and track required parts Look up parts and create detailed work orders in the dealership system Ensure accurate documentation of labor times, notes, and job completion details Qualifications: Prior mechanical experience required (diesel, electrical, hydraulic, or gas engines) Strong communication and organizational skills Familiarity with dealership service software and parts systems preferred Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with a customer-first attitude Compensation & Benefits: Competitive hourly pay based on experience Company-paid Health, Vision, and Dental insurance 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off (PTO) and holidays Career growth opportunities within a family-owned dealership group About Kings Equipment Group Kings Equipment Group is a locally owned and operated Kubota dealership group serving Michigan’s agricultural, construction, and residential markets.
