Principal Product Marketing Manager (Payments)
Join Intuit as a Principal Product Marketing Manager (Payments) to help drive growth in our Online Payments business within the QuickBooks team. You’ll work closely with Sales, Product, Risk, Pricing, Finance, and more to deliver growth initiatives and customer‑focused GTM strategies.
Overview Intuit’s Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG) delivers solutions for small businesses, from invoicing to payroll, accounting, payments, and lending. The Money team in QuickBooks focuses on helping businesses get paid, manage bills, and access financing, providing industry‑leading cash‑flow benefits. These solutions help address the statistic that 50% of small businesses fail within five years due to cash‑flow issues.
Responsibilities
Drive growth of the payments business in partnership with key cross‑functional teams such as Sales, Product, Risk, Pricing, and Finance.
Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify new monetization and pricing strategies to scale revenue growth.
Collaborate with the Business Development team to identify co‑innovation opportunities with third‑parties that unlock new distribution channels.
Uncover opportunities: Dive deep into customer and product experiences to identify GTM motions that accelerate growth for the QB Payments business.
Stakeholder communication: Serve as the conduit between the Payments business and other GBSG & Intuit businesses, ensuring alignment on priorities, progress, outcomes, and challenges.
Develop research and testing plans and actively analyze business data from multiple sources to generate insights, make informed decisions, and turn these insights into compelling business cases and end‑to‑end customer experiences.
Leverage storytelling, customer insights, data and business acumen to lead initiatives and influence the roadmap at any phase of the product life cycle (from idea to maturity) and execute an impactful GTM plan that prioritizes business results with product and channel partners.
Contribute to 3‑year strategic planning and make decisions that benefit the customer and the entire Intuit portfolio, not just the offering.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in product marketing, strategy & business operations, management consulting, or strategic roles within high‑growth environments.
Experience with Payments / Merchant Services is strongly desired.
Proven ability to influence and lead cross‑functional teams, build trust, and drive outcomes in a matrixed organization.
Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate plans into actionable tasks that align with business goals.
Exceptional critical thinking and problem‑solving skills, with data‑driven decision making.
Technical acumen: understanding of payment systems and money movement is a plus.
Excellent presentation and storytelling abilities, comfortable with business reviews with executives and teams.
Tableau/Qlik dashboard skills (or ability to self‑serve on data needs for ad‑hoc analyses) are a plus.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
BA/BS required, MBA preferred or equivalent work experience.
Experience with small‑ and mid‑sized business a plus.

This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs. Expected base pay range for this position:
Bay Area, California: $197,000‑$266,500
Southern California: $183,000‑$247,500
