The Relationship Associate I provides administrative services and customer assistance in the process of approval and servicing of loans from application to closing. This includes establishing loan files, collecting and ordering documentation, coordinating closing, assisting with past due collection and clearing of exceptions, and continued customer support in regards to loan accounts. The Relationship Associate I provides administrative and office management support for assigned Commercial Banking team. Key Responsibilities:

Requests, orders and compiles supporting documentation for the processing of loan requests. This includes information from the client such as updated financials, tax returns and other documentations as needed, as well as ordering records such as appraisals, title searches, flood determinations and credit reports. Acts as a liaison between parties involved in the lending process such as title companies, appraisers, attorneys, and lending personnel. Coordinates the closing process; prepares final loan documents and processes loan files to ensure documents are recorded properly. Monitors and assists with the collection of overdrafts, past due loans and tax collection and clearing loan collateral and credit exceptions. Ensures timely resolution of client service issues. Competencies Required:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint) and ability to navigate financial software applications (Mozart, Bancline) and related websites. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multitask in a fast pace environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong customer service skills with effective problem-solving abilities. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with internal and external parties. Good understanding of financial institution products and services. Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications/Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a banking and/or lending environment with a demonstrated understanding of banking and lending processes. Commercial Loan Documentation experience preferred. Formal Education & Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. Must meet the requirements to be commissioned as a Notary Public. Work Status: Full-Time. Supervisory Responsibility: None. Travel: 0% - Negligible amount of travel expected.
