This role plays a crucial part in fostering and managing B2B relationships within the local Spanish market, focusing on travel agents. You will be pivotal in acquiring new partners, managing accounts, and driving market expansion for outbound travel products. This hands‑on, client‑facing position is designed for individuals with extensive knowledge of the local travel industry who thrive on building and nurturing professional relationships.
Accountabilities
Develop and expand the local B2B travel agent network
Identify, acquire, and onboard new travel agency partners
Manage and grow an existing portfolio of travel agents
Promote and sell outbound travel destinations and services
Conduct regular field visits to agencies to drive engagement and performance
Provide product training and ongoing support to partner agencies
Follow up on quotes, inquiries, and commercial opportunities
Generate new sales leads and business opportunities
Coordinate with internal operations teams for pre‑sales and client needs
Strengthen brand visibility and product positioning in the local market
Maintain structured reporting on client activity and market feedback
Requirements
4‑8 years of experience in the travel industry
Proven experience in B2B Business Development and Account Management
Direct experience working with travel agents (mandatory)
Experience with airlines is a plus
Strong understanding of the local Spanish travel trade
Experience selling outbound travel destinations
Comfortable with field‑based sales and client visits
Strong relationship‑building and follow‑up discipline
Spanish: Fluent (spoken and written)
English: Professional working level
Valid driving license (mandatory)
Valid work authorization to work in Spain (mandatory)
Able to manage multiple accounts and priorities independently
Basic computer proficiency
