This Position reports to: Segment Manager Industries
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Sales organization and customers throughout the sales process by adapting ABB’s products with customer applications to meet their requirements/specifications. Each day, you will select optimized products and technology for adaptation, prepare relevant documentation, and serve as a key technical resource for the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities by proactively prospecting, networking.
Key Responsibilities
Developing customer relationships - both on the factory floor as well as in the customer’s engineering groups.
Understanding customer needs and requirements, and effectively communicating the ability of ABB’s solutions to address those needs.
Coordinating the product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value and benefits of ABB’s solutions.
Supporting in preparing sales proposals and negotiating contracts to secure new businesses.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience as a Sales Professional in Consumer and Industrial Electronics markets, or HS Diploma with 7+ years of experience.
You are familiar with electronics assembly, electronics materials handling / processing as well as picking, packing and palletizing using Automation in the Consumer and Industrial Electronics markets.
Possess an enhanced knowledge of different solutions using Automation and/or Robotics to solve complex problems.
You are able to take ABB advantages and translate them into specific solutions for our customers.
Have a demonstrated track record in Technical Sales and a good working knowledge of the customers and processes in the Electronics Industry.
You are at ease communicating in English.
You can work in the US and have at least 3 years on a visa before having to re-apply.
